The Sunshine Village Work and Play Experience

Sunshine Village is located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies about 1.5 hours West of Calgary and we offer an amazing 7 month employment experience. As our resort continues to grow, there has never been a more exciting time to work at Sunshine Village.

Every fall and throughout the season, Sunshine hires over 600 people to work and play at our resort. When fully operational, we reach over 800 staff members. Our employees come from all over the world from many different countries, backgrounds and cultures. The one thing we all have in common is our passion for skiing and snowboarding while having the best time of our lives!

Here are a few examples of the sweet seasonal jobs available each season:

Outdoor

It is important to consider whether or not you truly want to experience a Canadian winter in an outdoor position when applying. While springtime in the Rockies can be balmy with sunshine and 10 degrees Celcius, January and February can be -25 degrees Celcius! You will be provided with an appropriate uniform but will need to provide your own footwear, gloves and thermal layers.

Indoor
Sunshine Village is an extensive resort that includes the Sunshine Mountain Lodge, a full-service 84 room hotel. Our food and beverage outlets include casual dining and fine dining restaurants, a Starbucks sponsored coffee shop, 5 additional food and beverage outlets. We also have 2 equipment rental shops, a number of retail outlets, a day care and a guest services/ticket sales department.
