BIG MOUNTAIN RIDERS
If your child wants to do extreme free riding this season, then this program is an awesome way to start.

This series of lessons is designed for kids 11 to 17 years old with past ski and snowboard training. They must be comfortable skiing or riding black and double black terrain, and want to push themselves in our BIG Mountain/Free ride zones. Sunshine’s instructors will provide a fun, safe and exciting experience. The programs run each Saturday or Sunday for a period of 10 weeks.
BIG Mountain Riders introduces your child to snow safety and extreme skiable terrain at Sunshine. This is a great age to safely introduce avalanche awareness, meet other children with similar interests, and learn from the same instructor each week!
They will learn the proper use of a beacon, shovel and probe. Therefore, this equipment must be owned. A helmet and water bottle is strongly recommended. At the end of the program, the children will receive a graduation diploma and a swag bag to take home!
A supervised, nutritional lunch will be provided.Beacon, probe, shovel and a day pack must be owned.
A helmet and water bottle is strongly recommended.
