Breaking News: Sunshine Village Opens November 8th!

This just in! Banff Sunshine Village is set to open for the 2024/25 Ski & Snowboard Season on Friday, November 8th, 2024! 
 
Thanks to some high quality dense snow and the hard work from our operations team, Sunshine Village will be opening this Friday with Strawberry Express Quad Chair, Mitey Mite Carpet, and The Gondola. As the resort receives more and more snow, our teams will be looking to open more lifts and terrain. 
 
The Gondola is scheduled to start loading the public at 8:00AM until 10:30PM (Extended Friday hours, regularly closes 5:30PM every other day of the week). 
 
Strawberry and Mitey Mite will be open from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. 

All other Resort Services and Hours of Operations can be found below (Subject to Change):

Guest Services & Ticketing:

• Bourgeau Ticket Office: 8:00am – 2:00pm
• Creekside Guest Services: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Food & Beverage : 

• Mad Trappers: 10:30am - close
• Creekside Grill: 8:00am – 5:00 pm
• Creekside Java Station:  7:30 am – 6:00pm
• Alpine Grill: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Chimney Corner: 7:00am – 10:00pm
• Eagle’s Nest: 5:30pm – 10:00pm
• Sunshine Mountain Lodge Java Lift:  7:00am to 4:30pm
• Village Sprung Tent & Goats Eye Sprung Tent and adjacent washrooms – All Day

Retail:

• Sunshine Sports (Centennial Day Lodge): 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Creekside Sports: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Banff Ave. Sports (Bourgeau Rental Shop): 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Monarch Sports (Sunshine Mountain Lodge): 8:30am – noon, 4:00pm – 8:30pm

Ski School & Day Care:

• Village Sales Desk opens at 8:00am
• Creekside Sales Desk opens at 8:00am
• Day Care – 8:00am – 4:30pm

Rentals:

• Bourgeau Base Area: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Village Salomon Demo Center: 8:30am – 4:30pm
