Summer at Banff Sunshine (June 28th)

Have you ever wondered what your favorite runs look like, under all that snow? This summer, find out as you experience the beauty of Banff Sunshine Meadows. We'll be open for summer daily from June 28th to September 22nd, 2024.

This year, we will be running our Sightseeing Gondola 7 days a week! This summer fly through the Rockies, in comfort. Enjoy the views, as you soar 4.5 km up the mountain with your entire family and you see the raw beauty of summer in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

From the Village, ride the Standish Chairlift to 2,385 m (7,825 ft) and experience the 360-degree breathtaking views and easy access to 3 pristine alpine lakes: Laryx, Grizzly, and Rock Isle.

The 2024 summer opening weekend will be full of family fun in the sun in the Banff Sunshine Meadows! Join us for face painting in the village - get your face painted with your favorite superhero or character. Our Rocky Mountain trails are great for hikers of all ages and hiking abilities.
