Banff Sunshine Village is an accepting place of all snow sliding sports. We are a safe place for skiers, snowboarders, snow-bikers, telemark skiers, snow-bladers, mono-skiers, and more. Find out what lifts you can ride with your snow sliding gear.
We're a ski and snowboard resort, so obviously we want you to enjoy every corner of our mountain playground. With your lift ticket, you can ski or ride every lift at Banff Sunshine Village on skis, a snowboard, telemark skis, a sit-ski, a mono-ski or snowblades.
At Banff Sunshine Village, snowbikes, snowtrikes and snow skates are allowed on all of our detachable quad chairlifts. These lifts include: Goat's Eye, Wolverine, Teepee Town, Angel, Great Divide, Standish and Strawberry.
Winter sightseeing foot passengers are welcome to enjoy the views of Standish and Angel Express. Because we are a ski resort, we do recommend that foot passengers ride the chairlift down to the Village.
Snowshoers and Cross Country Skiers can ride Strawberry Express for easy backcountry access.
The use of fat bikes is allowed at Banff Sunshine Village. Bikers can ride fat tire bikes up the ski out. If you want to bring your fat bike up the gondola, you can do so with permission from mountain management.
