Our Snowiest March in 8 Years!

March 2025 went down in Banff Sunshine’s history books as the snowiest March in eight years! In just 31 days in the month March, 167cm, (5 feet 5 inches,) of world-famous, smoke-dry powder coated our Rocky Mountain slopes. From start to finish, Mother Nature was tossing us powder days like Oprah handing out free cars. Everybody got a pow day!

At Banff Sunshine, March & April are the sweet spot for surprise powder days! Our unique location on the Continental Divide means our snow stays featherlight & fluffy — even when spring sun is peeking around the corner.
